U2 to feature George Elliott Clarke’s poetry on Leonard Cohen, Quebec City mosque shootings on worldwide tour

U2 will feature "Kaddish for Leonard Cohen" and "Ain’t You Scared of the Sacred," poems by George Elliott Clarke, on their Joshua Tree anniversary tour in North America and Europe.

Clarke, Canada’s parliamentary poet laureate, said he was "astonished" and "honoured" by the request from the Irish rock band. Both poems were written in response to major Canadian events and published online.
